Mark Hermans began building a solid foundation in real estate by working as a licensed title insurance agent, a mortgage loan originator and residential real estate broker. Mark has continued to expand his experience to include a wide variety of transaction types including land investment sales, 1031 exchange representation and income-producing property, commercial property management, lease negotiations as well as residential and commercial development.  Mark won the 2012 CRCBR "Deal Makers Award" for outstanding brokerage sales and leasing in the Charlotte area.

Prior to joining HMC, Mark worked as a full service Broker with Carpenter Commercial in Concord, NC, from 2005 to 2008. He focuses on the greater Charlotte region with an emphasis in Cabarrus County NC, where he resides with his wife and two children. Mark earned his undergraduate degree from California College of Art in Oakland Ca. in 1993, where he learned a creative approach to problem solving as it relates to all facets of business and life.
